The Centre for Social Justice at Stellenbosch University, Visit Stellenbosch and the Stellenbosch Maties Alumni Chapter invites you to take action to ensure that no student is left behind. The Annual Social Justice Walk on Sunday 16 June 2024 (Youth Day) – from Stellenbosch to Kylemore – is in aid of the #Action4Inclusion crowd funding initiative. Join Prof Thuli Madonsela, Research Chair in Social Justice at the Faculty of Law, Prof Wim de Villiers, Rector and Vice-Chancellor, and Tendai (Beast) Mtawarira, Rugby World Cup winner, as we walk the talk to raise funds to clear student debt.
#Action4Inclusion is one of several initiatives that forms part of Stellenbosch University’s Bridge the Gap fund. This enables the community to support our students and close the gap between talent and financial need – something we all care about.
