| Join us for a spice-laden baking workshop at Soetmelksvlei, a delightful new excursion by Babylonstoren.Here, master baker Martjie Malan will teach you the art of making traditional aniseed rusks – from making the dough to shaping the balls by hand, and baking them to golden perfection. You will also make spice biscuits pressed into animal shapes. Martjie will guide you to decorate your biscuits with royal icing. After a hands-on morning in the farm air, we’ll enjoy a hearty lunch in the Old Stables Restaurant before heading back to Babylonstoren. |
