Koorinsident sings extracts from Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina’s Missa Papae Marcelli and a few pieces composed by Arvo Pärt which includes his famous Berliner Messe, as well as an interesting piece by Vytautas Miškinis.
Koorinsident came into existence in 2021 when several current and alumni choirs members in the Stellenbosch/Cape Town region came together to perform Sergei Rachmaninoff’s All-night vigil in Afrikaans. The choir consists of approximately 30 singers and operates on a project basis, led by conductor David Wolfswinkel. |
