The Misty Cliffs (Nick Turner\, Nick Catto and Matt Catto) will once again be holding down the fort as the house band and we’ll have a few of the performers from the album lending a hand throughout the show. \nDoors 4pm \nShow starts 5:30pm \nTicket options: \nGeneral Admission – R200pp \nChildren 12 years and younger – R120pp \nPlease note\, prices above exclude a minimal ticket admin fee. \nWe’ll also be doing a gift drive for the Pebbles project\, so if you’re able to bring a little something with\, to place under the Christmas tree\, we would very much appreciate it. Some suggestions below.

NO SMOKING OR FIRES (which includes the use of gas stoves) on the mountain. Leave no trace – DO NOT LITTER. Return wine glasses to the wine stand please. \nAlcohol to be consumed in a responsible manner.  Stay on hiking trail marked with blue footprints – do NOT follow bike paths. Remember not to leave valuables in your vehicle.  For safety – do not get separated from a group.

DESCRIPTION:Experience winemaking as it was practised before the turn of the 19th century. Our trusty mules\, Antjie and Saartjie\, transport grapes to Soetmelksvlei where guests destem and sort bunches by hand before they get stomping to extract the juice! It’s messy work\, please dress accordingly. Once pressed\, the grape juice is transferred to fermentation tanks in the distillery. Followed by a hearty harvest table lunch featuring heritage dishes from the Cape Winelands. \nArrive: 09h15 at Babylonstoren Ticket Office (add 15 min to your travel time due to road works in the areas) \nFee includes Babylonstoren Membership\, transport to Soetmelksvlei\, harvest activity and harvest table lunch at Old Stables Restaurant \n
